Man in Brooklyn catches ’em all, other players pretend to not be jealous

Oh you’ve got Charizard? And Dragonite? That’s cool. This guy? Oh he has all 142 Pokémon you can find in the US. Brooklyn local Nick Johnson by all accounts the first person to complete the Pokémon Go Pokédex as best a non-cheater can, with only the region exclusives (Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan and Farfetch’d) and the yet to be seen in the wild legendaries (Mewtwo, Mew et al) unaccounted for.

Speaking with Business Insider250px-137Porygon, Nick said his iPhone’s Health app has recorded walking an average of 8 miles a day in the two weeks since the game launched. Walking around and catching Pokémon for up to eight hours a day he even had to head over to Jersey City in an Uber to catch the elusive Polygon.

The last Pokémon needed to complete his collection was an Omastar. I mean I can’t even find enough Drowzee! And just to add a splash of fuel to the friendly flame wars, he’s on Team Valor.
