Is it really any surprise someone working on Minecraft is this talented? Spencer Kern, an artist working on Minecraft, has built a Pokémon Center charging station designed to help fellow trainers dealing with the incredible battery drain that comes from playing Pokémon Go.
Kern used a mix of plywood and 3D printed materials to make the housing, then placed a Yeti 400 solar generator inside. The project took him just three nights and thanks to a large USB hub it can power up to 12 mobile phones simultaneously.
“A quick weekend trip to a downtown park provided a great test for the Pokémon Center,” wrote Kern on his Sway page. “There were tons of trainers running around and everyone seemed to have a great time hanging out while charging up.”
